So, our little boys have been sick since last Saturday with what we thought was just regular colds, coughs, a litte fever, etc. After thinking they were getting better and then both having relapses, we finally took them into the doctor. We took Jaiton in Friday morning to find out he has RSV, bronchiolitis, and an ear infection. Poor thing has to do breathing treatments every 6 hrs, take a steroid twice a day, plus antibiotics for both his ear infection and cough. He doesn't care for any of it but has given in to his breathing treatments lately. I guess he figured out there's no use fighting it.
Then, yesterday morning, we took Bryson to the doctor to find out he has pneumonia. He had to get a huge shot in his leg and has to take antibiotics twice a day for the next week and half. After coming home from the doctor, he just laid around on the couch feeling lousy and told me this was his "sicky, sad face"...
My poor little boys! I hate seeing them so sick but I know we'll get through it and they'll be back to their healthy, crazy selves in no time.
Oh Vanessa, I feel your pain! We've had the sickiest winter ever and I'm so over having sick kids. I hope they get better soon and stay well! They are SO cute. There's a little boy in our ward that looks just like Bryson and I always think of you guys when I see him. Hope you're doing well!
ReplyDeletePoor kids! Maxwell had RSV when he was about Jaiton's age. Those breathing treatments are not fun. Bryson's sicky face is very convincing. I hope they get feeling better soon!
