Jaiton Max Byers was born Monday, April 12th at 5:21 pm after a whole 3hrs and 21 minutes of labor.He weighed 7 lb 7 oz and was 20 inches long and looks almost exactly like his proud big brother did at birth! He decided to come 6 days early and very quickly! My contractions started at 2 pm on Monday, were regular and painful by 3 pm, we got to the hospital at 4 pm, and had a baby by 5:21 pm! It was a complete whirlwind of events and nobody could believe how quickly he came. Isaac was very grateful we made it to the hospital when we did-he didn't want to deliver his son himself! Due to his quick arrival, there were a few complications. He was born with fluid in his lungs, had a slight heart murmur, and had to be monitored and treated for group B strep since my labor was not long enough to treat him with the antibiotics he needed before birth. We were sad to have to stay in the hospital longer, but grateful all of his problems resolved themselves. He is perfectly healthy and home now. We are really excited he has finally joined us!
Oh my goodness! He is so cute! So tiny and new... I love it! Bryson looks like a proud big brother. Sounds like a pretty crazy delivery. I guess Vanessa got her wish for him to come early. He's so cute. Can't wait to meet him. Hope all is well!
