Utah Trip

Right after my birthday, we got everything together and ready to head to Utah for Molly's (Isaac's little sister) wedding. We decided the trip would be much easier if we went ahead and turned Jaiton forward facing in the car. We decided it wasn't too bad since it was only 1 month early and he has been the weight requirement since he was 6 months old. So we gave Jaiton Bryson's car seat and bought Bryson a booster seat. The boys checking out their new car seats before Isaac put them in.

Isaac was actually able to take off an entire week of work so we headed up the weekend before and decided to pack everything we could into one trip! We went through Lubbock on the way up so we stopped and had lunch with my brother, Christopher, and his family. When we got to Utah, we went to our condo and got to spend time with my little brothers, Lehi, and Nephi and his family. After a 20 hr road trip, Isaac cooked dinner for the boys and all their friends-what a trooper! Jaiton enjoyed some time with his cousin, Owen, too!

While we were up there, we were also able to visit some good friends, my Uncle Talo and his family, and visit BYU campus (of course) to indoctrinate our boys a little! Then we met up with all of Isaac's family for the actual wedding that was Tuesday morning, Mar 15. I was terrible about taking any pictures, but Molly was beautiful and the ceremony and everything was very nice. Here's just a pic of us all dressed up waiting for the happy couple to come out of the temple.

After the wedding we hung out for another day to spend some time with some other good friends, then headed to Rangely, CO for the reception on Friday. Everything was beautiful and it was nice to spend time with Isaac's family. We enjoyed pretty much everything about the trip but the traveling! We put around 2,700 miles on our car in one week and over 45 hrs of drive time! Plus, both of the boys got sick and threw up all over the car in the way home because Isaac decided to take a short cut through a crazy mountain pass-no fun! Needles to say, we enjoyed our trip but were happy to be home!
